New partnership embeds the Pathsmith™ Durable Skills Framework into Beable, connecting literacy growth with the skills employers seek across industries.

LAKEWOOD, N.J., August 25, 2026. Beable, the Career-Connected Literacy® company, today announced a new partnership with America Succeeds to integrate the Pathsmith™ Durable Skills Framework into the Beable platform. The partnership will give K-12 and postsecondary educators a direct way to develop durable skills through literacy instruction while helping learners understand how those skills connect to their future careers.

Skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration and leadership are among the capabilities employers consistently seek. Students need the literacy skills to engage with ideas, communicate their thinking and apply what they know across academic, career and real-world settings.

Beable already connects personalized literacy instruction with career exploration and preparation. Through the new partnership, the Pathsmith™ framework will be embedded into that experience, bringing an employer-informed approach to durable skills development into the learning students are already doing.

America Succeeds’ Beyond the Portrait policy scan found that 26 states have formalized a Portrait of a Graduate, yet only seven require students to demonstrate durable skills as part of their graduation requirements.
