Our innovative platform fosters deep engagement, empowers students to take ownership of their learning, and introduces them to career opportunities at their reading level and in their language.  Career-Connected Literacy is not just a game-changer, it’s a life changer.

Beable is currently seeking a Marketing Manager who can turn strong ideas into compelling market-facing stories, offerings, and campaigns and is as passionate as we are about re-imagining lifelong success for students!  You will use your versatile marketing expertise combining exceptional writing skills with product marketing experience and strong campaign instincts. Working closely with company leadership, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and subject-matter experts, you will shape ideas, develop positioning, create high-impact content, and bring new programs and product capabilities to market.  As part of that process, you will help create the brief by asking thoughtful questions, identifying the audience and value proposition, building the argument, gathering the proof points, and developing polished content that moves the work forward.

This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing.  You will collaborate with dedicated design and marketing operations resources, allowing you to focus on strategy, messaging, content development and campaign leadership.

Primary responsibilities

Develop Ideas into Market-Ready Content
  • Partner with company leaders and subject-matter experts to develop early-stage ideas into compelling messages, offerings, and marketing initiatives.
  • Lead interviews and working sessions that uncover the strongest insights, differentiators, examples, and proof points.
  • Turn rough concepts, notes, presentations, and internal discussions into polished content with a strong audience, purpose, and point of view.
  • Help leaders communicate complex ideas in ways that are useful, credible, and engaging for education decision-makers.
  • Independently draft and edit high-quality marketing content, including thought-leadership guides, reports, webpages, emails, presentations, webinar materials, customer stories, sales resources, and campaign assets.
  • Maintain a consistent Beable voice while adapting content for district leaders, school administrators, educators, partners, and other audiences.
Product Marketing and Positioning
  • Partner with Product and leadership to understand new capabilities, offerings, research, customer results, and market opportunities.
  • Develop positioning, messaging frameworks, value propositions, launch narratives, and audience-specific messages.
  • Translate product capabilities into differentiated benefits grounded in the priorities and challenges of educators and education leaders.
  • Build product launch and go-to-market plans in partnership with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product.
  • Create sales enablement resources that help customer-facing teams explain Beable’s value, address common questions, and connect product capabilities to customer needs.
  • Monitor the market, competitive landscape, customer feedback, and sales conversations to strengthen messaging and identify new content opportunities.
Campaign Strategy and Execution
  • Develop integrated campaigns that use strong content to support lead generation, nurturing, customer engagement, product adoption, and retention.
  • Translate business priorities into campaign concepts, audience strategies, messages, content plans, timelines, and success measures.
  • Build cohesive campaign journeys across email, web, webinars, events, sales outreach, social media, and other channels.
  • Partner with marketing operations to implement segmentation, workflows, automation, tracking, and reporting in HubSpot.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to ensure campaigns support real pipeline and customer priorities.
  • Review performance data and audience response to strengthen messaging, content, and campaign strategy over time.
Content Planning and Project Ownership
  • Maintain a prioritized content and campaign roadmap aligned with company goals, product launches, market opportunities, and customer needs.
  • Manage multiple projects from initial idea through review, production, launch, and optimization.
  • Coordinate contributors, reviewers, designers, and operational partners while maintaining momentum and high quality.
  • Identify gaps in the content portfolio and recommend resources or campaigns that can address them.
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications and requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with significant responsibility for content development, product marketing, integrated campaigns, or a combination of these areas.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex or loosely defined ideas into focused, persuasive content.
  • Demonstrated product marketing experience, including positioning, messaging, product launches, sales enablement, or go-to-market planning.
  • Experience interviewing executives, customers, product leaders, or subject-matter experts and translating their expertise into strong marketing content.
  • A portfolio of writing samples that demonstrates range across long-form and campaign content.
  • Experience developing content and campaigns for B2B audiences.
  • Experience in EdTech or K-12 education required, preferably supporting literacy, ELA, intervention, or curriculum-focused products.
  • Strong project-management skills and the ability to move work forward across multiple contributors and priorities.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar marketing platform, including an understanding of segmentation, nurture programs, campaign measurement, and the customer lifecycle.
  • Comfort using performance data, customer insights, and market feedback to guide marketing decisions.
Skills and Attributes
  • A strong editorial instinct and the confidence to improve, challenge, and develop an initial idea.
  • Curious and skilled at asking questions that uncover the most useful story, insight, or differentiator.
  • Able to understand complex products and communicate their value without relying on jargon.
  • Strategic enough to shape the direction and hands-on enough to write the final copy.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, accountable, and able to manage work from an open-ended starting point through completion.
  • Attentive to detail while maintaining sight of the larger marketing and business objective.
